Well thank you all for your replies, even though the majority missed the mark by several miles.

My only point is, I resaved a form in an r5 database using an r6 client and this stopped the post open event running completly when the form was opened from an r5 client.
Then resaving the form with an r5 client fixed the problem.

I know i should install one million versions of notes on my pc and use the appropriate client for the appropriate design database but it was just an observation and I wondered if this was a BUG!
